Are you looking to utilise your experience and expertise in Foundry Test Analysis? We have an exciting opportunity for you!

At TCS, it means more—more opportunity to make an impact that matters through challenging projects that demand innovation, collaboration, and thought leadership.

The Role

As a Foundry Test Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of semiconductor devices manufactured within the foundry environment. You will support wafer sort and final test operations, analyse manufacturing and test data, develop and maintain test programmes, and work closely with design, process, manufacturing, and reliability teams to optimise test coverage, improve yield, and support high-volume production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, debug, and maintain Automated Test Equipment (ATE) programmes for wafer sort and final testing.
  • Define test flows, limit settings, binning strategies, and fault coverage requirements.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) testing activities.
  • Execute and monitor wafer probing and final test operations.
  • Investigate and resolve test-related failures, yield issues, and test escapes.
  • Support high-volume manufacturing (HVM) testing and production activities.
  • Analyse test data to identify yield trends, anomalies, and root causes.
  • Collaborate with process and device teams to drive yield improvement initiatives.
  • Perform correlation analysis between wafer sort, final test, and reliability data.
  • Work with ATE platforms such as Teradyne and Advantest.
  • Support test hardware including probe cards, load boards, and sockets.
  • Coordinate equipment qualification, calibration, and change management activities.
  • Interface with design, DFT, process, and reliability teams to optimise testing and manufacturing performance.
  • Prepare test documentation, technical reports, and transition packages.
  • Support customer audits and quality reviews when required.

Your Profile

  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor devices and fabrication processes.
  • Experience with Design for Test (DFT) concepts, including Scan, JTAG, and Built-In Self-Test (BIST).
  • Hands-on experience with at least one ATE platform, including Teradyne (UltraFLEX, J750) or Advantest (V93K, T2000).
  • Experience using Python, JMP, Excel, SQL, or similar tools for test and yield data analysis.
  • Understanding of yield analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and test coverage metrics.
  • Experience supporting wafer sort and final test operations within semiconductor manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional and cross-site teams.
  • Strong technical communication and documentation skills.
