The Role: This role operates within a highly regulated GxP Pharma / Life Sciences R&D environment, supporting mission‑critical applications that enable research, clinical processes. The role has a direct impact on compliance with global regulatory standards (e.g., GxP/CSV), ensuring system reliability, and uninterrupted delivery of ongoing innovation initiatives. The role sits within a high-pressure environment with significant responsibility for meeting service expectations, managing change, delivering against SLAs, and driving continual service improvement. A strong technical understanding is essential to navigate complex platforms, manage operational risks, and make informed decisions. Balancing service stability with evolving business demands requires resilience, sound judgement, and effective stakeholder management.
Your responsibilities:
- Good Service Management skill with ITIL experience
- Primary point of contact for all stakeholders.
- Own and improve application portfolio Service Management, Operations, Telemetry and Observability, and Change Management processes.
- Experience of managing 24x7 mission critical application
- Lead Daily Stand-Up (DSU) meetings with customer and drive operational governance.
- Review and approve all changes across Data, Infrastructure, Application, and Platform changes.
- Major Incident (MI) decision-maker and escalation point.
- Chair weekly operational reviews with partners, vendors, and other teams to review incidents, risks, and RCA outcomes.
- Drive service excellence, operational stability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage resource allocation, onboarding, capability development, and training plans.
- Accountable for the oversight of complex technical landscapes spanning infrastructure, databases, and system integrations, ensuring service stability and timely issue resolution.
