The Role
As Technical Design Lead, you will serve as the primary point of contact for technical support to designated account users. This role requires strong problem‑solving skills and proficiency in working with applications, computer systems, and handheld devices. You will be responsible for analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving issues ranging from simple to complex, ensuring timely and effective solutions that meet user needs.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop and maintain integration solutions using Apache Camel
- Build and enhance backend services and utilities using Python
- Design and develop cloud‑native applications on AWS, leveraging managed services
- Hands‑on development using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS/DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, and CloudWatch
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
- Write unit, integration, and end‑to‑end test cases to ensure high code quality
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues
- Own deliveries end to end, ensuring timely and high‑quality outcomes
- Work closely with onshore stakeholders to clarify requirements and communicate progress
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience
- 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in Java‑based application development
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
- Solid understanding of Java concepts including Streams, Lambdas
- Proven hands‑on development experience on AWS cloud services
- Experience with Apache Camel for enterprise integration
- Working experience with Python for backend development or automation
- Strong experience in writing unit and integration test cases
- Exposure to caching solutions such as Redis
- Proficiency with Git and modern version control practices
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills
- Experience with event‑driven or serverless architectures on AWS
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and infrastructure‑as‑code concepts
- Prior experience working in onshore–offshore delivery models
