The Role
As a Senior .NET Technical Architect, you will define and drive technical architecture across largeâscale, cloudânative platforms. You will shape engineering standards, guide delivery teams, and design secure, resilient solutions that support missionâcritical systems and modern operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive endâtoâend technical architecture for scalable, secure, and resilient platforms.
- Define, govern, and enforce architectural, engineering, and coding standards.
- Lead cloudânative solution design leveraging public cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies.
- Strengthen DevOps practices through CI/CD automation and InfrastructureâasâCode adoption.
- Design and embed observability frameworks including monitoring, logging, alerting, and SLO/SLI practices.
- Provide handsâon technical guidance and architectural leadership to engineering teams.
- Ensure solutions comply with security frameworks, regulatory standards, and ZeroâTrust principles.
- Support delivery of highâquality, faultâtolerant systems through continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, delivery leads, and business stakeholders to align technology strategy with business outcomes.
- Contribute to solutioning activities, design assurance, technical roadmaps, and architectural governance for complex programmes.
Your Profile
Essential skills / knowledge / experience
- Strong experience working as a Technical Architect within large, enterpriseâscale environments.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Strong experience designing and operating containerised solutions using Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and InfrastructureâasâCode tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
- Solid understanding of security frameworks, compliance standards, and ZeroâTrust architecture concepts.
- Experience designing scalable microservices and eventâdriven architectures.
- Proven expertise in observability, monitoring, incident management, and SLO/SLI design.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior technical and nonâtechnical stakeholders.
- Advanced understanding of software engineering standards, testing strategies, and quality practices.
- Familiarity with modern frontend or mobile ecosystems such as React, Next.js, or React Native.
- Experience supporting largeâscale retail operational platforms or workforce management systems.
- Knowledge of performance engineering, resiliency patterns, and reliabilityâfocused design approaches.
- Exposure to automation frameworks and tooling that improve developer experience and engineering efficiency.
