The Role: As a SuccessFactors Employee Central Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing the full lifecycle of integrations between SAP SuccessFactors and external systems, ensuring robust architecture, strong data integrity, and high performance across cloud and hybrid environments. You will play a key role in shaping EC processes, supporting implementations, and guiding customers through successful adoption and optimisation of EC functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and evaluate business requirements for SuccessFactors implementation and integration.
  • Oversee incident, change, and service request management, ensuring resolution within SLA timelines and alignment with ITIL methodology.
  • Coordinate with vendors and technical teams for system upgrades, troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and ensuring platform availability.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date project documentation, validation records, and knowledge databases in alignment with customer quality standards.
  • Provide regular status updates and present findings to customers, recommending service improvements and process enhancements.

Your Profile:

  • Minimum of one full Employee Central end‑to‑end implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of Custom MDF and Standard MDF object creation, configuration UI, data models, provisioning settings, and provisioning jobs.
  • Good knowledge of Position Management including position‑to‑job sync, auto‑generation of codes, custom UI, position types, and position org chart.
  • Hands‑on experience with workflows, alerts, business rules, custom email notifications, and custom letter generation.
  • Strong understanding of role‑based permissions, permission groups, roles, and country‑specific criteria.
  • Experience with global assignments and concurrent employment.
  • Good understanding of Foundation Objects and HRIS elements, HRIS sync mapping, dynamic filters, background elements, and standard elements creation.
  • Excellent knowledge of Time Off and Leave of Absence configuration including time types, profiles, and absence management.
  • Experience creating custom Hire templates with custom sections.
  • Knowledge of Contingent Worker configuration including work orders, vendors, and workflows.
  • Experience configuring Dependent Management, Addresses, Work Permit, and global/personal info blocks.
  • Strong experience with data migration of foundation objects, MDF objects, and employee data.
  • Hands‑on experience with cutover planning and cutover activities.
  • Experience producing test strategies, data migration strategies, instance strategies, UAT plans, SIT plans, WBS, BPMLs, and project plans.
  • Good knowledge of system integration testing including test scenarios, scripts, and results.
  • Hands‑on experience with Theme Management, homepage customisation, people profile customisation, header/background changes.
  • Experience with Configuration Transport Center, instance refresh, and release management.
  • IAS/IPS configuration experience with AD Azure and IAM SSO setup.
  • In‑depth configuration knowledge of Story Reports, Adhoc Reports, and Canvas Reports.
  • Knowledge of Job Profile Builder, skills, and competencies framework.
  • Strong understanding of Employee Central processes and industry best practices.
  • Good awareness of other SuccessFactors modules such as Recruitment, Onboarding, Learning, and Compensation.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification (EC Time‑Off Certification is a plus).
