This role plays a critical part in supporting and evolving high performance trading platforms within a fast paced, technology driven financial environment. You will contribute to the stability, optimisation, and continuous enhancement of complex trade lifecycle processes across multiple asset classes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence. The position offers exposure to cutting-edge trading technologies, distributed architectures, regulatory change programmes, and modern engineering practices, providing opportunities to influence key business outcomes while working on large-scale, mission critical initiatives.
Your responsibilities:
- Excellent understanding of trade management and trade life cycle.
- Experience in Capital markets.
- Good understanding of fixed income and hedge funds.
- Experience in implementation of at least 1 regulatory change.
- Well versed in Agile method and have experience in using Jira.
- Communicate product progress, risks, and value delivered to leadership and stakeholders.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Strong experience with Fidessa.
- Understanding of Equities, Global Markets, Order Management & Post Trade.
- Experience with FIX Protocol.
- Experience with Java and Linux.
- Experience with scripting languages like TCL, Python, Unix Shell.
- Understanding of databases like Sybase and MS SQL Server.
- Experience in distributed system design, messaging, and event processing.
- Experience with messaging frameworks like APMS, IBM MQ, TIBCO EMS.
- Understanding Automated Testing and DevOps Principles. Exposure on AI Tools.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Good understanding and experience on Fidessa.
- Experience with Agile Methodology and JIRA.
