The Role
The Salesforce Data Consultant will play a key role in designing, analysing, governing, and implementing data solutions across HMRC's Salesforce platform.
The role combines Salesforce Data Modelling, Data Analysis, and Salesforce Development expertise to support the delivery of scalable, secure, and data-driven public sector services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining Salesforce data models, analysing business and operational data, developing Salesforce solutions, and ensuring data quality, integrity, compliance, and accessibility across multiple business functions.
- Primary Objectives
- Design scalable Salesforce data models aligned with HMRC business requirements.
- Analyse complex datasets and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Develop Salesforce platform solutions using declarative and programmatic capabilities.
- Support data migration, integration, cleansing, and governance initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Enable effective use of Salesforce data for reporting, operational processing, and decision-making.
- Support Agile delivery teams in the development and enhancement of Salesforce applications.

- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models within Salesforce.
