About the Role: You will be responsible to support the employer brand team and academic engagement, ensuring best-in-class experience, showcasing TCS’s people, culture & technology through attraction & engagement activities, recruitment. Additionally, you will be partnering with business leaders and managers to deliver a proactive, commercial HR service aligned to business objectives and provide confident, pragmatic advice across the full employee lifecycle, including performance, absence, conduct, grievance and capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the TAG Head, Marketing team and wider hiring team to streamline messaging on company culture, careers, employer branding, award applications and social media presence.
  • Plan and execute early talent and academic engagement activities, including career fairs, business challenges, insight weeks, student contests such as CodeVita and Sustainathon, Reaching Out, finale event planning and liaison with challenge partners.
  • Manage onboarding, induction, student engagement and work-experience programmes, coordinating with HRBPs, project teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure a strong candidate and employee experience.
  • Act as a trusted strategic partner to business leaders, translating business priorities into practical people plans that support growth, productivity, performance and organisational effectiveness.
  • Lead the people agenda across assigned accounts or business units, including talent management, performance, succession, engagement, organisational design and workforce planning.
  • Be well-versed with complex employee relations matters including conduct, grievance, capability, absence, performance, consultation and sensitive casework, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes.
  • Support organisational change programmes, including restructures, TUPE transfers, consultations and business transformation, ensuring people impacts are managed and risks are mitigated.
  • Partner with specialist HR teams and business stakeholders across recruitment, reward, learning, mobility, compliance, onboarding, project placement, training and employee experience to deliver joined-up solutions.
  • Use people data, hiring trends, diversity insights and reporting to inform decisions, identify risks, improve retention and performance, and recommend continuous improvement actions.

  • Strong stakeholder management, ability to communicate clearly in sensitive and formal contexts, attention to detail, and a proactive approach are essential.
  • You have a keen interest in branding and communications, ideally with exposure to IT and international hiring.
  • You are skilled in using people data to identify trends, recommend evidence-based solutions.
