Key Responsibilities
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure Salesforce solutions, with a focus on Financial Services Cloud.
- Contribute to solution architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise data models, integration patterns, and security requirements.
- Advise on best practices for FSC, including client data models, loan management, KYC processes, and regulatory considerations.
- Design, develop and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Aura, integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware), and platform features across FSC, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.
- Own end‑to‑end development lifecycle, including code quality, testing, and deployment.
- Drive adherence to development standards, governance, and DevOps practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and shape solutions, not just implement them.
- Lead or support workshops, discovery sessions, and design discussions.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs, user stories, and implementation plans.
- Provide clear, business‑friendly communication of technical concepts and trade‑offs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business users, product owners, and senior stakeholders.
- Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout delivery.
- Support key governance forums, including steering committees and design authority sessions.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team capability building.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including BAs, architects, testers, and external partners.
- Support planning activities such as estimation, sprint planning, and release management.
There may be 10‑15% of supervisory activities as the team grows.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with Apex, LWC, Salesforce APIs, integrations, data modelling and platform configuration.
- Experience across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Understanding of security, data governance, and compliance in Salesforce.
- Experience delivering Salesforce solutions for financial services, banking, wealth management, or insurance clients.
- Familiarity with loan management, regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Experience in a consulting environment (Big 4, tier‑one consultancy, or SI partner).
- Strong track record of client‑facing delivery and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to operate in complex, multi‑stakeholder programmes.
- Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer I & II, Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional, Application/System Architect (or progressing towards).
- Experience with integration platforms (Azure), Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum).
- Experience with data migration and transformation projects.
