The Role: As a Pursuit Lead (Pre-sales/Bid Manager), you will be responsible for assembling the team of technical and sales resources to support pre-sales engagements and deal shaping for complex pursuits. In this role you will work on collaborative engagements between pursuit, sales, delivery, and business operations to drive deal pursuits. You will also help to remove obstacles and engage with stakeholders to drive deals forward and enable quality reviews adhering to rules and policies, to shape, review and approve a deal.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Managing Pre-sales engagements and deal shaping for approved/assigned pursuits.
  • Drive effective collaboration across the team to shape the proposed solution to meet customer needs and their budget.
  • Work closely with sales and delivery teams to define and scope quality solutions, delivering deal scope, solution approach, accurate cost estimates, staffing plans, financial costs, risks and risk reserve requirements, and budgetary estimations.
  • Drive the deal right from initial requirement stage till the contract is signed and handed over to the Delivery team.
  • Responsible for generating the SOW, BE decks, Technology specs, Business and Functional artifacts and share with customer.
  • Works closely with all tech/business/BD and Delivery stakeholders to derive the solution and submit the proposal to customer.
  • Ensures the overall quality of the deal for the customer with appropriate reviews and approvals taken from Delivery, Business, finance and resourcing managers.
  • Work with sellers, operations and Deal and Contract Assistance (DCA) to issue contracts, supporting sales through as well as contract signature and processing.
