Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for shaping and delivering large complex programmes from inception to go-live/hyper care/transition.
- Provide client advisory services for digital transformation by leveraging TCS expertise.
- Drive TCS business growth with CxOs and negotiate larger share of business through consultative sales.
- Manage complex/matrix set of stakeholders at multiple levels including CXO’s, policy makers, business owners etc. (both client and TCS).
- Lead and manage Agile/Waterfall delivery.
- Tracking and reporting on progress against the plan, including managing exceptions and escalations.
- Supplier management and where necessary manage sub-contractors.
- Responsible to build and maintain working relationship with key partners, product vendors and 3rd party providers.
- Assessing and managing the risk profile of the Project / Programme, mitigation plans, create/maintain registers.
- Provide reporting for Programme Operational Boards and Senior/Exec level Steering Committees.
- Ability to present TCS solutions and business models to technical and non-technical audience during sales stage and delivery phase.
Your Profile
- Proficient experience of delivery within the UK Public Sector including with Central Government.
- Large programme management and proficient experience in rolling out end-to-end transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to multiple delivery models including Agile, Waterfall etc.
- Exposure to, and strong understanding of, GDS delivery approaches, assessments and stage gates.
- Proficient understanding of project and programme disciplines – structure, standards, gateways, process adherence, accurate and detailed planning.
- Transition Management – Ability to transition new/on-going services (Application Development/Support, Infra etc) into TCS and service transition of large programmes to BaU.
- Experience in Change Management, Risk Management, Financial Management, Pricing, Commercial, Contracts.
- In depth knowledge and work experience in Service Delivery operations.
- Hands on Experience of working in DevOps Environment.
- Exposure to full spectrum of services including Cloud, Infrastructure, Service Desk, End User Services, Service Delivery, Operations.
