The Role: As a Payroll Team Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of UK Payroll for approximately 7000 FTE including statutory compliance, payroll accuracy, employee support, and coordination with Finance/HR.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading the team to provide accurate and timely payroll
- Managing monthly payroll cycles including F&F and audits
- Ensure statutory compliance (PAYE, National Insurance and AE)
- Manage HRMS Data/Payroll systems and reporting
- Handle employee queries and MIS dashboards
- Drive efficiency across payroll processes and systems
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Professional experience in payroll
- UK Payroll Subject Matter Expert
- Strong payroll legislation, pensions and compliance knowledge
- Advanced Excel (Journals, reconciliation and reporting)
- Experience with Oracle Cloud HR
- Process Improvement mindset
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- CIPP Qualification
