The Role:

The Service Delivery Manager will play a pivotal role in the support of the live service encompassing the Oracle Fusion applications, including HCM, Payroll, ERP, and SCM functional modules. This individual will oversee the transition to go-live, oversee and agree the acceptance into service process, lead on the service operating model creation and lead a team of onshore and offshore resources, managing service reporting requirements and ITIL process adherence, and ensuring the successful delivery of the client managed service.

Your responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the in-life managed services team comprising both onshore and offshore resources to provide service support to the end-to-end solution stack which encompasses Oracle Fusion applications. Provide guidance, set priorities, and ensure adherence to the managed service SLAs and contractual parameters.
  • Service Strategy: Accountable for defining the strategy and plan for the future live service, including the Service Operating Model, Acceptance into Service, and Service Catalogue.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with the client, service teams and third-party suppliers in the delivery of the in-life service. Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide regular updates on the continuous service improvement strategy for the contract.
  • Governance and Service Reporting: Experience in establishing service governance to encompass service structure, organisation design, business relationship management, business service planning, and service level management.
  • Risk Management and Issue/Problem Resolution: Experience in risk management, incident analysis, and proactive problem management. Ability to lead the team and client on resolving cross-service problems.

Your Profile:

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Strong experience as an Oracle Service Delivery Manager;
  • Desirable to have experience in at least one if not more of: Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, Payroll, SCM modules, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle PaaS services, experience with Oracle reporting and analytics.
  • Proven experience managing live large-scale Oracle Fusion implementations.
  • Experience in UK public sector / NHS or similarly complex regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of Release Management, Change Management, Environment Management, Configuration and Cost Management.
