The Role: As a Data Solution Designer, you will design and deliver end‑to‑end data science and advanced analytics solutions that translate complex business challenges into scalable, secure, and high‑performance data products. You will work across business, data engineering, and architecture teams to ensure solutions are production‑ready and aligned to enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Designing end‑to‑end data science and analytics solutions, including data ingestion, feature engineering, model development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Defining logical and physical architectures for analytics platforms, machine learning pipelines, and AI products.
- Ensuring solutions are scalable, reusable, secure, and cost‑effective.
- Selecting appropriate machine learning and AI techniques such as regression, classification, NLP, forecasting, and clustering.
- Defining data models, schemas, data quality rules, and ETL or ELT pipelines in collaboration with data engineering teams.
- Designing feature stores, training datasets, and inference pipelines.
- Providing guidance on model selection, evaluation strategies, experiment tracking, and reproducibility.
- Designing MLOps frameworks including CI/CD pipelines, model versioning, governance, and monitoring for drift and performance.
- Defining standards for programming frameworks, deployment models, and cloud or on‑premise architectures.
- Ensuring compliance with data governance, security, regulatory, and risk management standards.
- Establishing best practices and reusable design patterns across data and AI solutions.
- Background in data science, machine learning, and advanced analytics solutions.
- Proficiency in Python, including libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and scikit‑learn.
- Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with big data frameworks such as Spark, Hive, or Databricks.
- Understanding of MLOps practices, including model lifecycle management and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to containerisation and deployment technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Ability to design and deploy solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with tools such as MLflow, Azure ML, SageMaker, or Vertex AI.
- Solid analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders.
- Comfortable working within Agile or Scrum environments.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
- Experience within the BFSI domain, including areas such as risk, fraud, AML, or customer analytics.
- Experience with regulatory data modelling and explainable AI approaches.
- Exposure to generative AI, large language models, or vector databases.
- Certifications in cloud or enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
