Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design and delivery of scalable, high‑quality engineering solutions across backend, cloud, and integration layers.
- Act as a hands‑on technical leader while mentoring and guiding engineers within feature teams.
- Own technical decision‑making, architecture alignment, and engineering best practices.
- Ensure features are delivered end‑to‑end (design, build, test, deploy, operate).
- Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, CI/CD practices, and quality gates.
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies.
- Support production stability, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Key Skills / Knowledge:
- Strong hands‑on experience in backend engineering (Java / Spring Boot or equivalent stack).
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong experience with cloud‑native development (GCP / AWS / Azure).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong experience with Git and modern version control workflows.
- Strong understanding of business requirements and the ability to translate them into effective test cases.
- Effective and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-vendor team.
