We are seeking a highly skilled Cypress Automation Tester to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for modern web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cypress, JavaScript/TypeScript, API testing, and CI/CD integration, with a focus on delivering high-quality software through automation-first testing practices. Automate API validation and backend service testing. Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, and automation documentation. Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, defect triage, and retrospectives. Continuously improve automation frameworks, coding standards, and testing best practices. Strong hands-on experience with Cypress Automation Framework Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript Experience in UI and End-to-End (E2E) testing API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools Test automation framework design and maintenance Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Familiarity with SQL and database validation Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure Performance and accessibility testing knowledge Our competitive salary packages feature pension, health care, life assurance, laptop, phone, access to extensive training resources and discounts within the larger Tata network.
