  • Work within a strong network of supply chain, procurement, and technology experts across TCS.
  • Shape the future-state sourcing and procurement operating model within a major transformation programme.

The Role:

As a Sourcing & Procurement Consultant, you will advise the client at the start of a large-scale end-to-end transformation programme, focusing on sourcing and procurement. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand current challenges, define target operating models, and implement solutions that improve procurement efficiency, compliance, and overall commercial outcomes. You will collaborate with stakeholders across TCS, within the client organisation, and with third-party partners to ensure alignment and successful delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Acting as a subject matter expert in procurement, advising on sourcing strategy, procurement operations, and commercial optimisation.
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders, including CPO, CFO, and CIO, to shape and deliver transformation programmes.
  • Leading or supporting end-to-end procurement consulting engagements from assessment through design and implementation.
  • Conducting Source-to-Pay assessments to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and value creation opportunities.
  • Designing future-ready procurement operating models, including governance, roles, and performance metrics.
  • Developing transformation roadmaps aligned to business strategy, digital initiatives, and cost optimisation goals.
  • Contributing to thought leadership, proposals, and consulting assets within the procurement and supply chain domain.
  • Supporting capability development and mentoring junior team members within the practice.

Your Profile:

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Strong experience across Procure-to-Pay and Source-to-Pay process design.
  • Functional expertise in Oracle Procurement Suite, including solution architecture capabilities.
  • Experience delivering two to three large-scale sourcing and procurement transformation programmes.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments with strict deadlines and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience conducting analysis sessions to gather functional and technical requirements and design appropriate solutions.
  • Experience working with procurement platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, or Ivalua.
  • Good understanding of Oracle ERP solutions.
  • Prior experience working within the United Kingdom or wider European markets.
