The Role: As an SAP SCM (Logistics) Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting logistics and supply chain processes within a SAP S/4HANA landscape. You will work as part of a brownfield implementation and enhancement programme, supporting the transition to a modern, cloud‑aligned SAP platform. The role focuses on enabling efficient end‑to‑end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory, warehousing, and order fulfilment, while ensuring alignment with clean core principles and enterprise governance standards.
Your responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement SAP SCM solutions across logistics modules, including SD, MM, WM/EWM, LE, and PP.
- Deliver end‑to‑end processes across Order‑to‑Cash, outbound logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory management.
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Conduct workshops, including fit‑gap or fit‑to‑standard sessions, to define optimal solution design.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve supply chain KPIs and operational performance.
- Ensure seamless integration across SAP modules and with external systems.
- Support testing activities, including SIT, UAT, and deployment readiness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring stability and performance.
- Maintain documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and test artefacts.
- Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and clean core architecture principles.
Your Profile: Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Strong experience implementing SAP S/4HANA SCM solutions, particularly in logistics and SD domains.
- Proven experience with Order‑to‑Cash, outbound logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory management.
- Strong understanding of supply chain business processes and system integration.
- Experience conducting business analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design workshops.
- Ability to design, build, and deliver SAP solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Experience supporting end‑to‑end SAP implementation lifecycle, including testing and deployment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience working in client‑facing roles with effective stakeholder engagement.
- Strong documentation and process mapping capabilities.
- Experience in retail supply chain environments, including replenishment, allocation, cross‑docking, and flow‑through processes.
- Knowledge of Order‑to‑Cash cycle, shipment and delivery configuration, and WMS integration.
- Experience with IDOCs and system integration scenarios.
- Familiarity with SAP CAR, POS integration, and retail pricing solutions.
- Experience with business process modelling and use case design.
- Experience preparing test documentation, including unit test and SIT artefacts.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- SAP S/4HANA certification in relevant logistics or sales modules is advantageous.
