Be a part of a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider. Work in a team responsible to transform and accelerate SDLC processes for the customer’s critical application and data engineering components. Contribute to realise the customer’s ambitious and forward-looking strategy and transformation initiatives.
The role will be integral to realizing the customer’s vision and strategy in transforming some of their critical application and data engineering components. As a global financial markets infrastructure and data provider, the customer keeps abreast of the latest cutting technologies enabling their core services and business requirements. The role is critical in this endeavour by the means of enabling the technical and quality assurance thought leadership and excellence required for the purpose.
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases ensuring coverage across functional, regression, and integration scenarios. Coverage to include financial risk exposure, transaction volume, and business criticality.
- Validate financial calculations, transaction flows, compliance logic, and reporting across various platforms. This includes end-to-end data validation across ETL pipelines, databases, and reporting layers.
- Validate performance of system via performance and load testing leveraging tools for the purpose.
- Ensure that systems and data meet appropriate regulatory requirements enforced by GDPR, SOX and others (as applicable) through targeted test scenarios and documentation.
- Experience with test automation tools and automation frameworks, performance and load testing tools, defect reporting and management tools.
- Skilled in writing SQL queries to validate data across databases, ETL pipelines, and reporting layers.
- Experience working with Microsoft Fabric workspace and notebooks.
- Experience validating data in relational and non-relational databases including CosmosDB.
- Experience validating data in data lakes and lakehouses.
- Experience in working in Agile/ Scrum environments with CI/CD pipelines and sprint-based delivery cycles.
- Understanding of financial regulations such as GDPR, SOX etc.
