The Role

TCS are very well poised to grow in the Higher Education sector with differentiated propositions and products for this sector.

In this role you will be tasked with generating significant new business sales and revenue in the Education Sector across UK.

The sales will be created through selling a broad range of IT and domain-led services into key clients and broadening prospects within these sectors.

Key responsibilities

  • To own and implement the sales strategy, approach and objectives for the Higher Education market
  • To identify key opportunities and develop compelling propositions and business cases.
  • To ensure routine use of bid review and approval processes, sales reporting and pipeline management tools.
  • To develop and maintain the CXO level relationships within target market and accounts in order to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Responsible for generating new business sales Total Contract Value (TCV) and revenue in the target sector.
  • Understand the value that TCS Services and Solutions brings to organizations.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience

  • Extensive experience of the industry and track record of sales and deals within the Higher Education Sector across UK.
  • Relevant experience and knowledge of competing in the market.
  • Experience of working in virtual teams spread over multiple locations and countries.
  • Broad experience of the IT industry, markets, trends, technologies and their implications.
  • Target driven and hungry to achieve results.
  • The ability to forge effective commercial relationships at all levels and will be able to use their tenacity and experience to drive value.
  • An innovative approach to deal structures and be able to be highly credible with Clients.
  • A strong negotiator and able communicator across a varied audience.
  • An innovative style and the ability to craft solutions.
  • Good team player and able to win the respect of colleagues.
  • Self-starter and ambitious.
