The Role
You will be working for a customer who is second largest manufacturer of Aero Engines for large commercial, defence and business aviation. Primary role is for the design, product definition, integration and development of complex aerospace products, supporting both new product development and in-service programmes. These teams play a critical role in translating engineering requirements into robust, manufacturable and certifiable solutions.
We are interested in hearing from engineers with experience in mechanical design, product definition, component design and systems integration who are excited by the opportunity to work on advanced aerospace and defense programmes.
To work for some of the Defense programmes an individual must hold a Security Check clearance. TCS will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently have this in place.

Technical skills/knowledge/experience
- Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
- Experience within mechanical design, product development or engineering integration
- Knowledge in 3D modelling and Analysis software’s such as NX, Catia V5, Hypermesh, ANSYS, Nastran/Patran etc
- Aerospace and aero Engine Knowledge
- Strong understanding of engineering drawing and product definition principles
- Experience working within complex engineering environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
