Role: Diesel Gas Path Engineer
As a Diesel Gas Path Engineer you will s upport the development of the engine /aftertreatment physical base system engineering. In this role you will ensure functions adherence to the use of specified engineering methods, computer tools and aids applied. System artifacts (MBSE models, use case analysis, LAD, FFA/DFMEA/DRBFM, DVP, requirements, standards) developed off-cycle and updated on-cycle as required.
Strong background in Emissions/Gas Path/Aftertreatment.
~ Good understanding on the Gas path chemistry of ICE engines.
~ Full UK or equivalent driving licence.
~8D issue resolution and data statistics 6 sigma methods.
~ Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering.
Relevant experience of working in powertrain systems engineering and Gas path.
Emissions, After-treatment, Gas-path, Base engines, HV Systems, Torque and Energy Arbitration.
