The Role:

As an Enterprise Architect, you will lead the design, development and governance of end‑to‑end technical architectures for modern, multi‑vendor environments. You will collaborate closely with business, product and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable, resilient and secure solutions. The role involves hands‑on architectural leadership across system design, integration, data models, APIs and distributed systems, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and delivery best practices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead end‑to‑end architecture design across business, product and engineering teams.
  • Balance functional and non‑functional requirements with performance, security and scalability.
  • Develop high‑level and low‑level design documentation using UML and architecture tooling.
  • Apply Agile delivery practices and BDD (Behave / Gherkin) where relevant.
  • Lead architecture for BSS platforms including Order Management, Product Catalogue, CRM, Billing, Service Orchestration and Inventory.
  • Define integration patterns and data flows across legacy and modern systems.
  • Architect microservices, event‑driven systems, API gateways and distributed components.
  • Oversee large‑scale system integration involving extensive integration points.
  • Provide architectural governance and guidance throughout design, build and stabilisation phases.

Your Profile:

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Strong skills in HLD/LLD, UML, and architecture modelling tools.
  • Experience balancing functional and non‑functional requirements.
  • Strong background in Agile delivery and BDD (Behave, Gherkin).
  • Deep knowledge of BSS platform architecture (Order Management, Product Catalogue, CRM such as Salesforce, Billing, Service Orchestration, Inventory).
  • Hands‑on experience designing integration patterns, data flows, and system processes.
  • Experience architecting microservices, API gateways and event‑driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with event brokers/queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar).
  • Experience managing architectures involving large numbers of integration points.
  • Experience designing and reviewing API lifecycle, including OAS‑based API specifications.
  • Proficiency in product and data modelling, including BSS/TMF frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, state management and telemetry pipelines.
  • Experience designing secure, scalable architectures in regulated industries.
  • Experience designing and implementing event‑driven systems, including ordering, idempotency and observability.
  • Experience leading architecture for large, high‑throughput platforms.
  • Hands‑on experience deploying solutions on AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Experience with distributed system debugging, profiling and performance tuning.
  • Experience designing product and service models that integrate with quoting, ordering and inventory workflows.
  • Strong understanding of architectural trade‑offs, constraints and technical governance.
