Emissions Engineer

The Role

As an Emissions Engineer , you will work in the automotive engineering sector. Your focus will be on regulatory guidance, certification, and conformance services. This role is key to ensuring the automotive manufacturing business can sell products globally with the necessary emissions standards, including UN154 compliance and rollout across all markets (North America & Rest of the world).

Your responsibilities:

1. Deploy clear explanations of engine emissions certification requirements, associated legal obligations, and business processes.
2. Coach relevant business areas on certification requirements to ensure timely completion of certification work streams.
3. Lead the execution of engine emissions certifications from receipt of request through to certificate issuance and emissions label implementation.
4. Maintain owned emissions certificates and related labels throughout the product\’s lifecycle.
5. Develop and foster collaborative relationships with global governmental agency representatives.

Your Profile

Essential skills, knowledge, and experience:

• Strong understanding of engine and powertrain technologies, including electrified powertrains.
• Experience in combustion engine and aftertreatment calibration testing.
