We are looking for a leader with a blend of technical and functional expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM to spearhead implementation projects and support ongoing operations within the HCM domain. If you are passionate about delivering seamless payroll solutions and driving operational excellence, this role may be for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver L2/L3 support for Oracle Fusion UK Payroll, ensuring prompt and effective incident resolution.
- Manage endâtoâend UK payroll cycles â preâpayroll validations, payroll calculation and auditing, payment processing, costing, and postâpayroll reconciliation and reporting.
- Oversee UKâspecific statutory payroll processes including RTI submissions (FPS, EPS), P45, P46, P60, P11D, statutory payments (SMP, SSP, SAP, SPP, SHPP), student and postgraduate loans, and autoâenrolment pensions.
- Ensure compliance through statutory integration with HMRC.
- Investigate and resolve payroll issues related to elements and balances, fast formulas, payroll flow orchestration, and costing/accounting integration.
- Perform quarterly update impact analysis and regression testing to validate statutory changes.
- Collaborate with business teams to gather functional requirements, provide configuration and testing support, and deliver clear documentation.
- Prepare SOPs, rootâcause analyses, and functional design documents to support ongoing operations.
Essential Qualifications
- Inâdepth understanding of UK statutory rules â PAYE, NI categories, tax codes, RTI (FPS, EPS, NVR), pension autoâenrolment, statutory payments (SMP, SSP, etc.), and apprenticeship levy.
- Expertise in payroll configuration (e.g., elements, balances, rate definitions).
- Proficiency in Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, and HDL/HSDL.
- Handsâon experience supporting monthly and weekly payroll cycles in a production environment with strict SLAs.
- Strong track record of managing Fusion quarterly statutory updates for UK compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problemâsolving skills.
