About the Role
Be part of an exciting team where you will be challenged every day. Work closely with the range of teams within the business to bring products to life. Work with customers and identify opportunities to support their strategy and improve their processes across functions.
The Content and Storytelling Intern will help to support the wider team, ensuring consistent messaging and helping to build TCSâ reputation as a thought leader on innovation, sustainability and growth and transformation in the region. The role will involve taking ownership over liaising with external stakeholders and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. Supporting in the creation of the written content, so good copywriting skills are necessary. Some of the content you will be helping to produce includes thought leadership assets, such as articles, studies and video content, which will be leveraged in client communications, media relations, across social media as well as partner events across the UK and Ireland. You will gain a key understanding of communications, branding and marketing, playing an intrinsic role in promoting the work of TCS, its USPs and ways of working. The role is perfect for someone who is keen to learn more, who is a strong team-player and has excellent communication skills.
Key Qualifications
- Strategic and creative mindset, the ability to translate strategy and data in compelling, concrete messaging, in alignment with the TCS brand.
- Writing skills and an interest in both long and short form written content as well as video content creation.
- Flexible team player who likes to work together with a wide range (international) TCS stakeholders (ranging from business to CSR/sustainability and marketing/communication) to agency teams.
- Design Skills (Adobe suite) will be an added advantage.
- Well organized with great interpersonal communication and time management skills.
- Fluency and expertise in written and spoken English.
- Open to travel when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and own TCSâ UK corporate messaging framework in an organized, structured and accessible way.
- Ensure assets (blogs, videos, speeches etc) are in alignment with TCS UK messaging and the TCS brand.
- Help to create powerful thought leadership and corporate storytelling assets (including articles, video etc).
- In collaboration with TCS and agency teams, supporting in the development of strategies and plans that help build TCSâ reputation as innovative and sustainable growth & transformation partner.
- Maintain good relationships and a contact network with key internal/external stakeholders to ensure all project communications activity is delivered.
Your Profile
- Interest in Content, Design, Marketing or Communications.
- Ideally a degree in Marketing, English Literature/ Creative Writing, Communications.
- Basic content editing or review experience- this can be obtained during your studies.
- Exposure to working with stakeholders through academic or internship experience.
- A willingness to learn and be adaptable; trying something new or having to think outside of the box.
- Good time management and organisations skills and the ability to multitask.
- Demonstrable experience in writing and storytelling.
- A desire to make key contributions to the wider team.
