Role: SAP IAM Lead

Location: London (Canary Warf / Watford)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-time)
The Role
SAP IAM Lead ensures secure, compliant, and efficient management of user access across SAP landscapes by designing and implementing identity governance, access control, and risk management solutions, while supporting audit and regulatory requirements.
Your responsibilities:
- Implement and manage SAP IAM modules (ARA, ARM, EAM, RDP).
- Support SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and cloud application deployments.
- Conduct SoD analysis, risk assessment, and compliance management.
- Design and maintain roles, authorizations, and access governance controls.
- Manage user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access request workflows.
- Integrate SAP IAM with SAP IAS, IPS, GRC, and third-party IAM solutions.
- Configure approval workflows, business rules, and access controls.
- Support testing, deployment, and production releases.
- Maintain IAM documentation, standards, and governance policies.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to drive security best practices.
Your Profile
- Strong experience with SAP IAM modules (ARA, ARM, EAM, RDP).
- Expertise in SAP Security, Authorizations, Roles, Profiles, and Access Control.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC security.
- Strong knowledge of SoD, Risk Management, SOX, and audit compliance.
- Experience in User Life cycle Management and RBAC.
- Hands-on experience with SAP IAS and SAP IPS.
- Integration experience across SAP, cloud, and IAM platforms.
- Expertise in access request workflows and provisioning processes.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- SAP GRC and hybrid SAP landscape experience.
- Knowledge of ABAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, APIs, and automation.
- Experience integrating with SailPoint or other third-party IAM tools.
- Knowledge of SOX, GDPR, ISO27001, and governance frameworks.
- SAP Security, SAP IAM, SAP GRC, CISA, or CISSP certifications.
