The Role

SAP IAM Architect ensures secure, compliant, and efficient management of user access across SAP landscapes by designing and implementing identity governance, access control, and risk management solutions, while supporting audit and regulatory requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP IAM solutions across SAP and cloud environments.
• Configure SAP IAM modules including ARA, ARM, EAM, and RDP.
• Perform SoD analysis, risk assessment, and compliance management.
• Design and manage user roles, authorizations, and access controls.
• Configure user provisioning, de-provisioning, and approval workflows.
• Integrate SAP IAM with SAP IAS, IPS, GRC, and third-party IAM solutions.
• Configure identity federation, connectors, and access governance processes.
• Support testing, deployment, and production releases.
• Maintain IAM documentation, standards, and governance policies.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure secure access management.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Strong experience with SAP IAM (ARA, ARM, EAM, RDP).
• Expertise in SAP Security, Authorizations, Roles, Profiles, and Access Control.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC Security.
• Strong knowledge of SoD, Risk Management, and Compliance (SOX).
• Experience in User Lifecycle Management (Joiner-Mover-Leaver) and RBAC.
• Hands-on experience with SAP IAS and SAP IPS.
• Experience integrating SAP IAM with SAP and cloud applications.
• Expertise in workflow configuration, access requests, and approval processes.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Experience with SAP GRC and hybrid SAP landscapes.
• Knowledge of ABAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, APIs, and automation.
• Integration experience with SailPoint or other third-party IAM solutions.
• Knowledge of SOX, GDPR, ISO27001, and audit frameworks.
• SAP Security, IAM, GRC, CISA, or CISSP certifications.
