What will I be doing?
- Responsible for the contract management of all Packed Transport vendors, ensuring that a best-in-class service is delivered, that is compliant and cost competitive.
- Manage all Packed Transport providers to ensure consistent delivery of bestâinâclass performance.
- Lead periodic tendering of work packages to maintain cost competitiveness and ensure value for the services procured.
- Conduct audits of transport providers, including detailed reviews of export documentation, to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Analyse transport and costârelated data to evaluate charging mechanisms and identify excess or avoidable charges, such as demurrage.
- Prepare, analyse, and present monthly KPI reports to internal stakeholders, ensuring clear visibility of performance and areas for improvement.
- Ensure accurate and timely setup of Transport Provider data and pricing within the ERP system (SAP).
- Work proactively with Transport Providers and internal stakeholders to identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for reducing overall service costs.
- Review and validate Transport Provider invoices to ensure alignment with contracted services, including coordination with the Customer Services team on any additional or disputed charges.
- Manage dayâtoâday interactions with Transport Providers, resolving operational issues promptly and overseeing escalation processes where required.

To be a stand out applicant you will have 3-4 years experience in a similar role and have experience of working on transport contracts in excess of 2 million pounds. This is the ideal role for someone who enjoys working with detail, who is curious and constantly looking for areas to improve.
