Argyle Winery is seeking a temporary, part-time Specialist Assistant (Busser) to join our Dundee, OR Tasting House Hospitality team. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, energetic, and thrive in a fast-paced customer-facing environment. The role involves interacting with guests at tableside, educating them on wine flights, and enhancing their experience. The position requires excellent hospitality and customer service skills to support the hospitality team and ensure a seamless guest experience. This role supports Tasting Room sales staff in delivering efficient, detail-oriented service.
This is a temporary, hourly non-exempt position based in Dundee, OR, from May to September, working 20 hours per week, Thursday to Sunday, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
Minimum Qualifications:- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must have U.S. Work Authorization without current or future sponsorship.
- Clear, reset, and maintain tabletops throughout the day.
- Keep floors, furniture, menus, and place settings clean.
- Assist in retrieving wine orders, club shipments, bottles for restocking, and materials from the warehouse.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate them to servers or managers.
- Assist with pre- and post-shift setup and cleanup.
- Ensure water stations, polishing stations, service stations, and bussing stations are prepared for service.
- Participate in staff training.
- Maintain cleanliness of all back and front of house areas.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
