Argyle Winery is seeking a part-time Specialist Assistant (Busser+) to join our Dundee, OR tasting house hospitality team! This position provides support to the hospitality team and helps to create a memorable guest experience. The role supports Tasting Room sales staff to provide efficient and detailed oriented service. This role is also responsible for providing services that make the experience seamless. This position is based in Dundee, OR and is a part-time, hourly non-exempt position, with a work schedule of 24 hrs./week, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays (schedule flexibility may be asked of this position).
Minimum Qualifications
- Stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Lift upwards of 50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Previous restaurant or winery/tasting room experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with changing priorities.
- Must be able to provide U.S. Work Authorization without current or future sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Clear, reset, and maintain tabletops as required throughout the day.
- Keep floor, furniture, menus, and place settings clean.
- Assist in retrieving wine orders, club shipments, bottles for restocking, and materials from the warehouse needed for service.
- Respond appropriately to guest requests, communicate guest requests to servers/manager immediately.
- Assist with pre/post shift setup and cleanup.
- Make sure water stations, polishing stations, service stations, and bussing stations are set for service.
- Participate in staff training.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all back and front of house areas.
- Maintain health and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
