Our Dundee tasting room is open daily from 10 am to 4 pm, with occasional evening events. This is a part‑time, seasonal position, 2–3 days a week with weekend availability required.
Key Responsibilities- Brand Representation: Engage with guests and visitors to represent Lange Winery with enthusiasm, professionalism, and warmth.
- Wine Education: Share in‑depth knowledge about our wines, tasting practices, winemaking methods, and the winery’s rich history.
- Sales Focus: Proactively invite guests to join our wine club and promote upcoming winery events to increase membership and sales.
- Point‑of‑Sale Operations: Efficiently manage POS transactions, handle cash, and provide exceptional service during purchases. Familiarity with POS systems is preferred; experience with Wine Direct, Tock, or similar systems is a plus.
- Inventory Assistance: Assist in daily inventory checks, wine stocking, and ensure proper organization of tasting room supplies.
- Shipping Support: As needed, help with the packing and shipping of wine orders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Event Assistance: Provide support for winery events, both on and off‑site, including VIP hosting, private tastings, and club/private event coordination.
- Tasting Room Maintenance: Perform daily housekeeping tasks to keep the tasting room and property clean, organized, and inviting.
- Special Projects: Assist with any additional hospitality duties or tasks assigned by management.
- Sales Experience: Proven success in sales and customer service, with a track record of driving membership, event participation, and retail sales.
- Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to interact confidently and kindly with a wide range of guests.

- Wine Licensing & Food Handlers Permit: Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid OLCC pourer’s license and Oregon Food Handlers permit.

- Stoop, reach, kneel, or crouch, use hands for the duration of the shift.
- The working environment has exposure to both indoors and outdoors.
