A Restaurant Supervisor / Assistant Restaurant Manager is required for this upmarket bistro set within a garden centre in the South Lakes of Cumbria. The bistro has a beautifully designed interior and sits in gorgeous surroundings within the jaw dropping scenery of Cumbria overlooking the lake. The kitchen uses fantastic fresh, local produce available from the premises as well as from other areas of the county, creating an eclectic menu of classic British Cuisine dishes, home comfort food, and snacks such as sandwiches and pasta.

As well as the beautiful environment on offer, the bistro can also offer sociable working hours to the ideal candidate, with working hours being between 8am and 7:30pm and 5 days a week.

As Restaurant Supervisor / Assistant Restaurant Manager you will:

  • Assist the Management in the running of the restaurant, while being required to run the establishment as needed.
  • Have a friendly yet professional persona.
  • Have experience of working with an establishment of a similar standard that focuses on fresh food and excellent service.
  • Be a strong team player.
  • Lead by example to ensure your high standards filter through your team.
  • Be fully responsible for the smooth running of the restaurant, staff management and training, along with ordering and stock control.
