A Head Chef is required for this stunning country house hotel in a lovely area of Oxfordshire. The hotel has 80 bedrooms and a fine dining restaurant with an a la carte menu that is modern British in design and changes with the seasons. The hotel has an excellent reputation and is very busy with both repeat business and visitors to the area. It is also a popular wedding destination due to its picturesque surroundings.
You will be joining a professional brigade that regularly serve up to 100 covers in their Restaurant.
As Head Chef you will:
- Be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen
- Be managing and motivating a professional brigade, ensuring that ongoing training and development is offered to all members of the team
- Have solid man management and kitchen management skills along with a stable background
- Be a creative and talented Chef with exceptionally high standards who can lead their team by example and inspire them
- Have the passion and ability to maintain an exceptional standard of cuisine and the right candidate will ideally be experienced in good fresh food and fine dining kitchens
