We are recruiting a Pastry Chef for one of Cornwall's most celebrated coastal kitchens, perched above the sea and renowned for its elegant food, refined atmosphere and exceptional attention to detail.

As Pastry Chef, you'll be responsible for delivering refined, seasonal desserts that complement a produce-led menu inspired by Cornwall's outstanding larder. From elegant plated desserts to breads, ice creams and afternoon service elements, you'll have the platform to showcase your skills while working with high-quality ingredients in a kitchen that genuinely enjoys what it does.
This role would suit a Pastry Chef with experience in a quality restaurant or hotel environment who is looking to develop further in a destination kitchen with a strong reputation and a loyal following. Attitude, attention to detail and a passion for pastry are just as important as experience.
As Pastry Chef you will:
- Be working on the Pastry section of the kitchen preparing all manner of pastries, desserts, breads and ice creams
- Be passionate, talented and hardworking and have the drive and determination to work hard to help this kitchen maintain the highest standards
- Provide support across other areas of the kitchen as required
- Have a background within fresh food establishments
