As Junior Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, helping to lead the brigade while maintaining the consistently high standards expected within a Rosette-level kitchen. You will have experience within a quality fresh food kitchen, ideally at Rosette level, and possess a genuine passion for seasonal British cuisine.
As Junior Sous Chef you will:
- Support the senior kitchen team with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Help lead and motivate the brigade during service
- Assist with menu development and seasonal dish creation
- Maintain exceptional standards of food quality and presentation
- Train and mentor junior members of the team
- Ensure excellent food hygiene and kitchen organisation
- Deputise for senior chefs when required
