This is an incredible opportunity to join a highly acclaimed kitchen in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, where excellence is standard, and every dish tells a story. Working with an ambitious and close-knit brigade, you’ll take ownership of the pastry section in a restaurant that’s long been a favourite of locals, tourists and discerning food lovers alike.

The kitchen delivers elegant, seasonal menus with a modern British focus—think classic techniques with a contemporary edge, homemade everything, and proper respect for ingredients.

You’ll have the chance to create your own desserts and work with a Head Chef who values talent, precision and flair. Everything is made in-house—from the bread and petit fours to the ice creams and intricate plated puddings—so there’s plenty of room to shine. The property is independently owned, with a real sense of pride running through both the restaurant and the small number of luxury guest bedrooms upstairs. Standards are high, but the working environment is supportive, well-structured, and designed to bring out the best in people.

This is ideal for a Pastry Chef who’s ready to take the lead on pastry in a destination venue, and who enjoys a mix of fine dining precision and relaxed country charm.
