Overview
An Assistant Restaurant Manager is required for this Michelin Star Restaurant in Birmingham, a vibrant and eclectic city.
The restaurant is chic and beautifully decorated, creating an air of luxury as guests sample exquisite modern British cuisine on gastronomic tasting menus. All produce is locally sourced and there is private dining available. The restaurant offers 30 covers in an elegant setting, with courteous and attentive service, excellent cuisine and palate-tingling wines to perfectly partner each dish.
You must have a background in a minimum 2AA Rosette establishment, and without this experience, your application unfortunately can’t be considered.
This role requires candidates to have a valid UK work visa or settled status – no sponsorship is provided.

Responsibilities
The restaurant is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager who possesses an excellent attitude and a passion for wine and for exceptional service. As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will:
- Be enthusiastic and passionate about exceptional service
- Possess knowledge of and be passionate about wines
- Be responsible for assisting management in the smooth running of the establishment, staff supervision along with ordering and stock control
- Have a friendly yet professional persona
- Have previous experience of working with an establishment of a similar high standard
- Be a strong team player and be able to lead by example to ensure your high standards filter through the front of house team
