Responsibilities
As Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead the front-of-house team, ensuring a smooth and memorable guest experience from breakfast through to late-night cocktails.
You’ll have the chance to bring ideas to the table, support training and development, and step up in the Manager’s absence.
As Assistant Restaurant and Bar Manager you will:
- Lead and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver warm, professional and efficient service
- Ensure guests receive a consistently high level of hospitality and attention to detail
- Oversee the smooth running of service from breakfast through to dinner and late evening drinks
- Assist with staff training, development and performance reviews
- Maintain standards of cleanliness, presentation and compliance with health and safety procedures
- Help manage stock levels, ordering and cellar control
- Contribute ideas to improve service, drive revenue and enhance the guest experience
- Take charge of the operation in the Manager’s absence, ensuring all areas run smoothly
Requirements
They are looking for someone with previous supervisory or management experience within a quality hotel, restaurant or bar setting and a hands-on, positive leader who motivates the team and leads by example.
