We’re recruiting an Assistant Restaurant Manager for a beautiful country-house hotel set in one of the Lake District’s most picturesque villages. The restaurant is renowned for its warm, polished service and thoughtfully curated menus that draw diners from across the region. You’ll be part of a close-knit front-of-house team who take real pride in the details; from immaculate table presentation to genuine, relaxed hospitality. There are beautifully crafted tasting menus and a la carte menus on offer, brimming with mouth-watering dishes as well as an extensive wine list providing the perfect accompaniment for any dish.

Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Restaurant Manager and run the restaurant in their absence
- Have a friendly, yet professional persona
- Have experience of working within an establishment that focuses on fresh food
- Be a strong team player and be able to lead by example to ensure your high standards filter through your team
- Have a passion for food, have lots of flair and be able to deal with day-to-day issues calmly and professionally
