Sales Director – Asset Management – Tier 1 Strategy Firm

Backed by one of the world\’s largest strategy houses, this company has grown from 30 to 70 people in the past 5 years. They work with many of the world\’s top banks and asset managers, offering analytics, data, consulting, and more. Their recent work with Goldman Sachs, JPM, and Barclays has propelled the brand into the spotlight.

We are looking for a Senior Manager or Director to lead sales into the mid-tier bracket of asset managers, wealth managers, and D2C brokers. The firm already has relationships with the big AMs and wants to make more of a mark into the mid-tier and smaller firms.

The typical sale for this person would be £50-100K worth of benchmarking/data looking at operational and technology cost information.

Qualifications

1. A strong network into the asset management space, particularly targeting CEOs, CTOs, COOs, and \’Heads of\’ Division who buy data and benchmarking services.
2. A consistent sales record and a tenacious attitude.
3. Consultative selling background and an understanding of the ASAM stakeholders and their needs.
4. Passion for the markets and broader FS space.
5. A \’start-up\’ mentality; with an office of 70 people, this feels like a small firm though the client list and larger brand backing suggests otherwise.

Currently, the firm operates an in-office policy with circa 1 day working from home.

On top of base, you receive commission plus performance-related bonus. 30-50% is the guide for bonus.
