We realise people do not fit into neat boxes. We are looking for curious and empathetic individuals who are committed to developing themselves and learning new skills, and we are ready to help you do that. We cannot complete our mission without building a diverse and inclusive team. We hire the best people based on an evaluation of their potential and support them throughout their time at Tasman. Come join us!
About the role
You’ll work directly with clients to design and build data platforms — data warehouses, pipelines, orchestration — using tools like Snowflake, BigQuery, and Docker. We favour pragmatic, maintainable solutions over complex ones, and we build things clients can own long‑term. This is a role where you’ll grow. You’ll work independently on small‑to‑medium complexity tasks with support available when you need it. Communication matters as much as technical skills — you collaborate with client engineers, analysts, and stakeholders across multiple projects.
What we’re looking for
- Some experience with data — building pipelines, writing SQL, or working in data‑driven environments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and eagerness to learn more
- Comfort with code (Python, SQL, or similar) and good engineering practices
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical people
- A proactive, communicative approach — you take ownership and keep people informed
Why Tasman?
We’re a remote‑first consultancy helping organisations get more from their data. Different clients, different industries, plenty of variety. We care about doing good work and supporting each other. If this sounds exciting but your experience doesn’t perfectly match, apply anyway. We’re interested in potential.
