The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced ERP Business Analyst to join a growing technology function, supporting the ongoing development and optimisation of enterprise business systems.

This role will work closely with stakeholders across multiple business functions to analyse requirements, improve processes and deliver ERP solutions that drive operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will act as the link between business users and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and translated into effective system enhancements and project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business and system requirements.
  • Review and map current business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.
  • Produce high-quality business requirements, functional specifications, process maps and user stories.
  • Support ERP implementation, enhancement and integration projects from inception through to delivery.
  • Liaise with internal technical teams, third-party vendors and implementation partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning and defect management.
  • Assist with change management activities, user training and documentation.
  • Provide functional support for ERP applications, investigating issues and recommending long-term improvements.
  • Analyse system data and reporting requirements to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure solutions align with business objectives, governance standards and best practice.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across business processes and enterprise systems.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting ERP platforms.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, including Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Inventory or Operations.
  • Experience working with one or more enterprise ERP solutions, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, IFS, Infor, Epicor, Net Suite or similar.
  • Demonstrable experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades and business transformation initiatives.
  • Understanding of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of system integrations and data migration activities.
  • Basic SQL or data analysis experience.
  • Business Analysis certification (BCS, CBAP, PMI-PBA or equivalent).
