Production Planner in Barnoldswick

Role: Production Planner

Salary: Negotiable

Location: Earby

Hours: Mon Thurs 8:30am 5pm and Fri – 8:30am 12pm

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Production Planner to join a well-established and industry leading Manufacturing company in Earby.

The Role:

Provide consistent production plans in accordance of availability of production lines

Ensure customer deliveries are on time and in full across all platforms

Place materials orders as requested

Monitor prices and undertake cost reduction initiatives

Receive direct material orders, book in and process the paperwork

Log production hours on the system

Maintain holiday and sickness diary for production staff

Take incoming telephone calls and forward to relevant personnel

Preparer reports to the Production Director

Perform other administrative duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the factory

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience working in a Production Planner within a manufacturing environment

Previously worked in an administration role

Be computer literate and have a good level of Excel, Word and Outlook skills

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Positive attitude and comfortable dealing with clients and suppliers

Happy to work temporary to permanent or permanent

Understanding of PREACTOR desirable

SAP experience desirable

Full and current driving licence
