Overview
Packer. Immediate start, Β£12.21 per hour (weekly wages), On going work, Back shift 3pm β 11.30pm.
A great opportunity has become available for a packer to join our client in Cowdenbeath. Working within the food industry you will be required to work at pace. This is an ongoing role and requires immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Maintain product quality and hygiene standards
- Visually checking packed dairy products for non-compliances
- Placing packed products onto pallets/cages
- Keeping count of what has been packed for the order and filling out relevant paperwork at end of production run
- Checking codes on labels after changeovers to make sure the labelled tray has the correct date and matches the date on pot
- Label trays that are required to be hand labelled
- Advise supervisor/ shift manager of any machine faults or line performance issues
- Good housekeeping – ensuring your surrounding area is always clean and tidy
- Comply with Health and Safety requirements and HR Policies
- Assist the Production Supervisor as and when required and carry out any other reasonable duties to ensure the effective smooth running of Production
