Taskmaster Resources Ltd is currently recruiting for an Operations Clerk for our well established client based in Runcorn.
Working Hours – 3 shift weekly rotation:
Week 1 – Nights 22.00-06.00
Week 2 – Afternoons 14.00-22.00
Week 3 – Mornings 06.00-14.00
Job Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Clerk to join thier team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office by providing essential administrative support. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in various office software, and excellent communication abilities.
Duties
- Manage daily workload and assist with clerical tasks to ensure efficiency.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and promptly, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Taking receipt and booking in of all goods in stock.
- Taking booking slots for all goods in suppliers.
- Interacting with all drivers, goods in and goods out.
- Timing out of vehicles via transport system.
- Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Organise files and documents systematically for easy retrieval and reference.
- Collaborate with team members to support various administrative functions as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote productivity.
- If needed, to cover other shifts by working overtime at enhanced rate.
Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook & excel is required
- Familiarity with office equipment and basic computerised systems is required.
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail are necessary for accurate data entry.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment are crucial for success in this role.
