Working in partnership with our client, one of the UK’s largest furniture manufacturers based in Nelson, Lancashire, we are recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers. Candidates will need to have:
- Full UK CE Driving Licence
- Valid CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 12 months experience within a similar role
The role will involve:
- Delivering furniture to locations nationwide
- Communicating professionally with the end customer
- Completing all required safety and vehicle checks prior to journeys
- Driving safely and professionally at all times
- Completing overnight stays where required
- Handballing where necessary
Weekly earnings will range from £850 and can exceed £1,000 and are made up of basic salary, plus overtime, bonuses, overnight allowance etc. This is a temp – perm position for the right candidate.
