We are seeking reliable and skilled Class 2 Drivers to join our team. This role is for the early birds! Starting times are 02.00am onwards. You will be working with another driver to share the drive as most of the collections are down south. The main job is collecting car bumpers from recycling yards. You will need to be physically fit as the car bumpers are all handballed on.
Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 2 for the safe transportation of goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Ensure that all cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods as required, ensuring that all items are handled with care.
