We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team. This is a night trunking position, transporting a double-deck trailer from Birchwood to Northampton and back, running Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class 1 double-deck trailer safely and efficiently.
- Complete trunk runs to Northampton, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Carry out thorough pre-trip vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
- Safely load and secure cargo to prevent movement or damage in transit.
- Maintain accurate records, including mileage, fuel use, and delivery times.
- Adhere strictly to all road traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and report any issues promptly.
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs as required.

- Minimum2 years experiencedriving Class 1 HGVs.
- Good understanding of road safety legislation and best practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
