Class 2Driver
Taskmaster are currently looking to recruit a Class 2Driver to join our client is based in Northampton to start immediately.
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday (Start times between 4am/6am) 45 hour week
Pay rate: £15.00 – £16.00ph
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Delivering flat-pack kitchen and bathroom products, as part of a 2 person crew.
Inspect load safety before leaving the depot and request for items to be reloaded if necessary to avoid unnecessary damage and so as to ensure safety.
Drive the vehicle safely in accordance with the law and company policies at all times and be respectful of other road users.
Check goods off with delivery sites and obtain signature and print.
Understand tachographs and drivers hours regulations and comply with them at all times.
Report any accidents as soon as possible in line with the company accident procedure.
Attend essential training when required.
Nights out may be required in line with the needs of the business.
Provide excellent customer service.
Maintain the cleanliness of the cab.
Assist with yard or other ad-hoc duties in line with the needs of the business.
